About

Ben Holton is a ballet dancer based in Philadelphia, where he dances as a trainee with Philadelphia Ballet.

Prior to joining Philadelphia Ballet, Ben trained in ballet, modern, contemporary, and jazz at the Raleigh School of Ballet in Raleigh, North Carolina under Hong Yang, Megan Marvel, and Mary LeGere. He also performed locally and in national festivals as a member of the school's performance company, Raleigh Dance Theatre.

For his two most recent films, Ben composed and performed the piano score while also choreographing, performing, and filming all of the movement. Transience and Which? represent the beginning of a body of work at the intersection of movement, music, and place.
